Fin is a great strength and
conditioning coach. I was very unfit when I started

this skinny little guy going to
show me, having come from a
Rugby and weightlifting
background. Ten minutes into
the first workout, I knew I found
my new coach. I've trained four years with Fin
and watched his Knowledge base
grow, both in nutrition and

Before starting my training with Fin I
couldn't stay consistent with the
gym. I had been a member of the gym
since 2021 but was very inconsistent
with it but since training with Fin I've
been very consistent going to the
gym between 4-5 days a week. I've seen some great results and I am
lifting heavier then ever, I can now
bench just over 40 kg which is my
current PB which I'm so excited about
and that wouldn't be possible without
the help of Fin! He's helped me so
much with confidence in the gym, I
now walk in 10 times more confident
than I did before as I know what I'm
doing and how to do it. I've recently started focusing on my
nutrition and Fin has been a huge
help as I had no idea where to start or
what to do, every time I tried focusing
on nutrition and tracking my food I'd
got overwhelmed but I now I
understand how to track my food and
it's crazy how happy it's made me to
finally be onto my nutrition. None of this would be possible

commercial gym on my own but
fast forward to nearly 4 years
later I've got the confidence to
train on my own daily knowing
that I've had the correct
training and support from Fin
to be able to do so. I now only train 1-1 with Fin once a week however he's curated a weekly program for me to follow to keep me on track to my hitting goals and I've seen some incredible results. The support and encouragement from Fin is fantastic.

Before Finley, I dreaded the gym.
I felt out of place, I didn't know
how to use the equipment, I was
always tired and lethargic and
thought that I just "wasn't a gym
person". After a few months, I
started looking forward to seeing
him, and having a laugh - that's
how he gets you sucked in! About 8 months in to training
pretty inconsistently, I was given
a shock diagnosis of bowel
cancer; I was terrified, and
needed to find a way to stay
positive and focused on my
health. Fin was an incredible and
unwavering support through one
of the toughest times in my life,
and has pushed me to get
stronger (physically and
mentally) than I ever could have
imagined. I'm now cancer free, I
weight train 4-5 times a week, I'm
lifting some pretty hectic
numbers, and still getting
stronger every day. I cannot
thank Finley enough for helping
me zone in on my health.

This is a great quality as some PT’s will just tell you what to do. Whereas Fin can show you to achieve your goals and does well at explaining the process along the way.
Since signing up with Finley one year ago, I have noticed some serious improvements with my training, fitness and confidence within the gym and in general! I originally came to Finley with the goal of weight loss, but as of late I’ve realised how much I really enjoy powerlifting exercises which has now become our main focus.
With that we have now created a program to follow which allows me to progress with my strength training weekly. Within the space of a couple months I have gone from only being able to bench press the bar alone to now benching a comfortable 45kg, deadlifting 90kg and squatting 50kg. Without Finleys knowledge and encouragement I wouldn’t have ever felt comfortable enough to even attempt any of these exercises let alone progress this much. I'm excited to see what progress we can make within another years time!

Finn is a great coach who works well with his clients to find a program that suits your needs. His friendly demeanour can help ease beginners into the gym and his knowledge provides support for more experienced goers. Finley is one of those coaches who is always going above and beyond for his clients.
Whether its on the gym floor or behind the scenes, he is always giving his clients his absolute best.
His Knowledge around powerlifting and nutrition is leagues above the rest and my training has definitely benefited from working alongside him.

I’ve been training with Finley Orphin going on three years. I have been a difficult, complaining and uncooperative client for a lot of the time. I can honestly say Fin is disciplined, patient and highly educated beyond his years. He is very passionate about his work and consistently works to improve his knowledge and techniques. I’ve managed to lose 10 kilograms and finally become stronger and happier with my body. I cannot recommend him as a trainer and nutritionist enough.
